What you'll do

• Maintain a computer database tracking surgical patients
• coordinate surgery scheduling communications
• obtain and review pre-admission testing
• conduct phone assessments to collect medical and medication histories
• obtain information from other physicians
• communicate with anesthesia staff and surgeons
• evaluate allergies and arrange testing when appropriate.
