Caregiver / Home Care Aide

Job overview

The Caregiver / Home Care Aide role is onsite in Dublin, CA, with flexible shifts from morning through overnight and schedules of 10 to 40 hours per week. Pay is $22–$24 per hour. Nurse Next Door provides flexible, premium care options to help seniors remain at home. The aide provides nonmedical assistance according to each client’s care plan, supporting daily living, safety, and companionship so clients can receive care in their home or facility. The role also communicates changes in client needs and documents services provided.

What you'll do

• Carry out the client care plan
• assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, transfers, positioning, ambulation, prescribed exercises, meals, toileting, and medication reminders. Provide household help, transportation, errands, and companionship
• report changes in client condition or needs
• complete service records and required training
• maintain active California Home Care Aide registration.
