Store Associate — Campus Merchandise Store

The Store Associate role is onsite in Downers Grove, IL, Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Pay is $20 per hour. The client is a higher education organization with a campus retail setting. The associate supports daily campus merchandise store operations by assisting customers, processing purchases, maintaining inventory, and keeping the store organized and welcoming.

What you'll do

• Welcome customers and provide service
• process credit-card transactions through the point-of-sale system
• assist with merchandise selections
• receive and organize merchandise
• monitor inventory and assist with tracking and data entry
• maintain a clean and presentable retail space
• answer basic questions and direct customers to resources
• support general store and administrative tasks.
