Activities Aide

The Activities Aide role is onsite at Bradford Houses in Ashland, OH. Pay is $12–$13.80 per hour, based on experience. Brethren Care Village is a mission-driven senior living community providing a continuum of care. The aide supports residents’ recreation, socialization, and mental stimulation by carrying out planned activities and offering individual engagement when time allows. The role also helps residents participate, maintains activity records, and works with other departments to support residents and families.

What you'll do

• Implement activities on the events calendar
• transport residents to and from activities
• provide one-on-one activities when time allows
• document resident participation
• organize an alternative activity if an event is cancelled
• refer unresolved resident or family concerns to the Director of Housing
• maintain rapport with other departments
• assist residents with visits, letters, errands, communication, and music as needed.

Why this role

Part-time schedule options include days, 9 a.m.–2 p.m., or evenings, 4 p.m.–8 p.m.; includes every other weekend from 1 p.m.–8 p.m. First Aid training must be current or obtained upon hire; activity certification training is provided.
