The Head Start Lead Teacher role is onsite in Memphis, TN; pay is $14–$22 per hour. The teacher supports classroom learning and family engagement for children ages 3 to 5 at Creative Scholars Academy.

What you'll do

• Plan and deliver individualized, research-based lessons using the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework
• develop children’s language, literacy, math, science, and problem-solving skills
• maintain a safe and healthy classroom
• guide behavior using positive redirection and trauma-informed practices
• mentor assistant teachers
• conduct developmental assessments
• maintain student files
• and partner with families through home visits and conferences.
