What you'll do

• Set up and check anesthesia equipment and supplies, including anesthesia machines, monitors, invasive lines, and delivery systems
• prepare and maintain patient monitoring devices before, during, and after anesthesia
• clean, sterilize when requested, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and arrange repair or replacement of equipment
• perform quality control, quality assurance, and preventive maintenance activities
• maintain records and patient charges
• stock and maintain a clean, safe work area
• use aseptic techniques
• operate auto transfusion equipment
• may assist anesthesia providers with intra-operative fluid management.
