Weekend Registered Nurse

The Weekend Registered Nurse role is onsite in Delhi, NY. Pay is $46–$47.25 per hour. This part-time position supports nursing care at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The nurse oversees nursing care and staff performance during the shift, addresses care-delivery issues, and provides direct nursing care as needed. The role supports safe, coordinated resident care through staff supervision, clinical monitoring, documentation, and communication with residents, families, and the Director of Nursing.

What you'll do

• Monitor nursing care and staff performance
• conduct shift staff meetings
• identify care-delivery problems and implement corrective action
• report to the Director of Nursing
• coordinate nursing services
• investigate accidents
• maintain confidentiality
• assign and delegate work
• make unit rounds
• address complaints
• check emergency supplies
• support staff orientation and evaluations
• ensure adequate staffing
• provide direct nursing care as needed
• start or restart IVs when ordered
• monitor medication administration and treatments
• and participate in quality, safety, and infection-control activities. Requires a current state RN license, peripheral IV certification, two years of clinical nursing experience, one year of geriatric and subacute experience, and CPR/BLS certification.
