Accounting Manager

As an individual contributor overseeing day-to-day financials, the manager prepares financial statements and analysis and handles accounting processes across receivables, payables, collections, settlements, and month-end close. The work supports accurate financial operations and responsive service to internal teams, customers, and carriers.

What you'll do

• Process and review accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections
• resolve system discrepancies with customers and third parties
• prepare reports for audits, reconciliations, and leadership
• review and resolve short payments
• answer customer and carrier billing/payment questions
• post and review Comdata wires
• upload rates into McLeod
• audit settlement items for voids
• send remittances to carriers
• create and release banking files for direct deposit
• obtain credit reports for new carriers
• complete month-end close responsibilities for the Controller
• back up the AP/AR coordinator or specialist
• support internal and external customers
• process accounting through McLeod.
