What you'll do

• Direct infection control program functions
• ensure compliance with CMS, TJC, CDC, OSHA, and other applicable standards
• analyze infection data for trends, clusters, risk factors, and variances
• manage infection-control policies
• conduct surveillance, analysis, and reporting of hospital-acquired infections
• assist with clinical rotations and student orientation
• train staff during departmental and general hospital orientation
• assist with projects, audits, and required training
• coordinate the preceptor program.

Why this role

Requires CPR certification, a current license or certification in a health-related field, post-secondary education in a health-related field, infection-control or epidemiology training, and one year of clinical experience. Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) certification is preferred; educator experience is preferred.
