Assistant Store Manager — Convenience Store

The Assistant Store Manager role is an onsite position in Blountville, TN, paying $14–$16 per hour. GPM Investments operates convenience stores and gas stations, and this role supports the store’s daily operations and customer service. The assistant manager helps keep the store running smoothly by supporting the Store Manager, leading team members, and maintaining customer service, inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and cash-handling practices. The role also steps in as acting manager when the Store Manager is away.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day store operations and act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• operate the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and exterior cleanliness
• create team schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials.
