Senior Precision Machinist

Job overview

The Senior Precision Machinist role is onsite in Hartland, WI. Pay is $35–$50 per hour. Fathom is a contract manufacturer serving aerospace and defense, medical, robotics, automotive, semiconductor, data center, and energy markets. The machinist independently sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and improves CNC machining processes for complex, close-tolerance components. The role also serves as a technical resource and mentor to less experienced machinists.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• machine complex parts to tight tolerances
• read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
• troubleshoot machining and quality issues
• optimize tooling, setups, and cycle times
• support process improvements
• and mentor less experienced machinists.
