What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC horizontal and vertical machining centers
• load fixtures, set tool offsets, load programs, and prove out first-piece parts
• interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• monitor production and tooling
• edit feeds, speeds, and offsets
• machine metal parts
• inspect parts with precision instruments
• segregate nonconforming material
• maintain setup sheets and tooling records
• perform routine maintenance and shop-floor upkeep
• safely rig loads using overhead cranes.
