Nurse Aide

Job overview

The Nurse Aide role is onsite in Miami, FL. Compensation is $15.50 per hour. The work takes place in an adult day care setting serving elders, including people with Alzheimer’s. Working under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, the aide supports participants’ daily living, recreation, socialization, feeding, safety, and care-plan activities, while reporting changes and completing assigned documentation.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, ambulation, seating, and bus transfers
• participate in assessments and care planning
• support activity plans and goals
• assist with personal care, meals, and feeding
• support the LPN with vital signs and take temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as directed
• observe and report changes
• maintain a clean and safe environment
• complete assigned records and documentation
• assist with field trips as needed.
