Lead Medical Assistant

Job overview

The Lead Medical Assistant role is onsite in Sausalito, CA, with occasional travel to other Marin City Health and Wellness Center locations possible. Compensation is $28–$32 per hour. The role supports clinicians and patient flow at the health center. The assistant prepares patients and exam rooms, performs clinical and administrative tasks under clinician direction, and maintains accurate records and safe clinical spaces. This work helps clinicians deliver patient care and supports coordinated office operations.

What you'll do

• Support patient flow
• escort and interview patients
• measure and record vital signs
• prepare exam rooms
• support medicine and laboratory results as directed
• operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment
• administer injections or treatments and perform routine laboratory tests
• maintain records
• disinfect rooms and instruments
• coordinate vaccine ordering and documentation
• maintain logs and support front-office duties.
