Child Intake Therapist

What you'll do

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations
• gather clinical and demographic information
• complete assessment tools and formulate diagnoses and introductory treatment plans
• maintain client records and progress notes
• authorize medically necessary services and assign levels of care
• coordinate admissions with treatment teams
• provide outpatient counseling and brief therapeutic interventions
• make referrals
• provide crisis intervention, assess risk, develop safety plans, and coordinate hospitalization or other emergencies.
