Sales and Production Associate — Thrift Store

The Sales and Production Associate works onsite in Gloversville, New York. Pay is $16 per hour. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers collect and resell gently used goods to fund rehabilitation programs that provide work therapy, counseling, and other support. The associate supports store and production-area operations, serving customers and donors while sorting, pricing, stocking, and maintaining merchandise and the store environment. The role also contributes to the centers’ work therapy program by modeling professional conduct and work habits and providing supervision as directed.

What you'll do

• Support store operations and provide courteous customer and donor service
• handle, sort, price, ticket, stock, and display merchandise as assigned
• maintain clean and orderly work areas and store property
• follow cash-handling, security, and operating procedures
• report theft, complaints, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
• support the work therapy program as directed.
