What you'll do

• Review menus before food preparation
• assist with regular and special diet menus
• help ensure meals are prepared on time
• prepare appetizing meals according to recipes and special diets
• prepare substitute foods
• serve portions according to established procedures
• coordinate dietary services with other departments
• assist with food inventory and storage
• maintain clean and safe kitchen and food-storage areas
• report hazardous conditions or equipment.
