The Registered Nurse (RN), Hospice After-Hours On-Call role is based at the office in Renton, WA, with coverage across King County. Pay includes a $150 stipend for Friday, a $250 stipend per day on Saturday and Sunday, plus $58–$60 per hour for visit-related activity and mileage. AccentCare’s hospice team provides patient-centered care and support to patients and families. The nurse responds to after-hours needs, conducts assessments and visits, coordinates care, and supports admissions and transitions. The role contributes to individualized hospice care through collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team, with accurate documentation and caregiver education.

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
• maintain timely and accurate documentation
• coordinate resources and communicate with the care team
• provide patient and caregiver education and emotional support
• participate in on-call rotations, admissions, and care transitions
• in the on-call capacity, respond to triage calls, perform visits and assessments, and coordinate with the Administrator On Call.
