What you'll do

• Own monthly and quarterly close for a client portfolio, including reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and journal entries
• prepare and review compiled financial statements and management reports
• review payroll, sales and use tax filings, and 1099 reporting
• serve as day-to-day client contact
• lead onboarding, chart-of-accounts design, software conversion, and procedure documentation
• coordinate with the tax team on year-end books and workpapers
• identify process and technology improvements.
