What you'll do

• Smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• align forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters
• level surfaces with wooden and aluminum screeds
• set forms to proper pitch and depth
• clean and strip forms
• judge concrete slump and calculate and order concrete
• maintain and secure clean job sites
• install rebar or wire mesh and expansion joints
• saw-cut concrete and asphalt
• perform strenuous manual labor
• and follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
