The mechanic/operator operates and maintains steam systems and related equipment, performs preventive maintenance and inspections, and documents work to support safe, efficient equipment operation and compliance with applicable requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate steam-generated boilers and related equipment
• schedule and perform preventive maintenance
• operate pneumatic and mechanical valves and safety devices
• conduct and document safety procedures and inspections
• maintain new boiler equipment for performance and efficiency
• follow company, local, state, and federal requirements, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
