Traveling Superintendent – Mission Critical Construction

The Traveling Superintendent – Mission Critical Construction role is onsite, based in Frederick, Maryland, with extensive travel for project assignments throughout the United States. Compensation is $100,000–$140,000 per year. The role supports a commercial builder’s large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects. This position oversees field operations and coordinates subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to help deliver projects safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. It also supports planning, inspections, documentation, issue resolution, and project turnover.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily field operations
• coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• lead site activities
• support planning, sequencing, logistics, and schedule execution
• conduct site walks and resolve field issues
• coordinate inspections, punch lists, and turnover
• monitor progress and report to project leadership
• ensure compliance with specifications, company standards, and safety requirements
• support construction documentation and field coordination.
