Facilities Maintenance Aide

Job overview

The Facilities Maintenance Aide role is onsite in Immokalee, FL, and pays $17.00 per hour. The position supports the campus environment at Pace Center for Girls. The aide helps maintain a safe, clean, and functional campus for the girls while safeguarding the organization’s facilities and equipment. The role coordinates maintenance planning, inspections, vendors, supplies, vehicles, and safety drills, and performs minor repairs and special cleaning as needed.

What you'll do

• Oversee campus and facility safety, maintenance, and cleanliness
• develop scheduled maintenance and improvement plans and submit budget proposals
• conduct campus inspections and prioritize maintenance and safety issues with the Executive Director
• support compliance with agency contracts and safety standards
• supervise external vendors and obtain bids
• perform minor maintenance and special cleaning as needed
• manage building supply inventories and storage spaces
• oversee agency vehicle maintenance
• schedule and supervise safety drills
• coordinate space use and event setup and breakdown
• assist with special events as needed.
