Attorney, ADA Compliance & Legal Project Support

Job overview

The Attorney, ADA Compliance & Legal Project Support role is onsite in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and pays $25–$35 per hour. The position supports legal and regulatory compliance initiatives, including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The attorney advises on accessibility, nondiscrimination, and reasonable accommodation obligations; reviews documents for compliance gaps; and supports corrective action plans and project coordination. The role helps advance legal compliance work while maintaining confidentiality and professional independence.

What you'll do

• Provide legal guidance on applicable ADA requirements
• review policies, procedures, agreements, and supporting documentation for compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
• conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, reports, and recommendations
• support compliance action plans
• when applicable, review federally funded program requirements and related documentation, reporting, monitoring, and audit responses
• coordinate with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders
• support project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up.

Why this role

Requires active authorization to practice in Puerto Rico state courts and admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, both in good standing. Federal funding compliance experience is preferred; project management experience is highly preferred.
