The Customer Service Representative / Shipping Clerk role is an onsite, full-time position in Normal, IL. Pay is $20 or more per hour, with a seasonal bonus of $2.25 per hour from November through April. Southshore is a third-party logistics provider serving businesses in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa. The role supports regional distribution center operations by managing shipment and receipt paperwork, entering and verifying data, tracking shipments, and responding to customer inquiries. It coordinates with customers, vendors, drivers, and logistics staff to maintain accurate records and dependable shipping and receiving workflows.

What you'll do

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments and receipts
• audit shipments, verify inventory counts, enter data, and maintain databases
• track and update shipment status
• communicate with customers, vendors, drivers, and coworkers
• assign inbound trucks to dock doors
• maintain customer material files and verify receiving documents
• research and resolve customer issues
• complete call logs and reports
• provide backup to shipping and receiving
• support new employee training as required.
