Job overview

The Manager, Technical Accounting & Policy is a hybrid role based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, with at least three office days per week. The annual salary range is $90,000–$130,000, with bonus eligibility. The role supports Versant Media’s technical accounting strategy and consistent application of accounting policies. The position partners with Controllership, FP&A, Legal, External Reporting, and external auditors on policy implementation, disclosures, controls, and audit readiness.

What you'll do

• Analyze and document complex transactions
• prepare technical accounting memos
• advise finance teams on accounting issues
• monitor new accounting pronouncements and coordinate implementation
• support footnote disclosures and MD&A
• assist with SOX control documentation, training, and process improvements
• coordinate with the VP and external auditors.
