What you'll do

• Direct laboratory operations, workflow, policies, procedures, and coordination with other departments
• oversee staffing, recruitment, training, performance feedback, and appraisals
• manage budgets, expenses, purchasing, and reporting
• perform laboratory testing and phlebotomy
• document quality control
• record patient results in the Laboratory Information System and report them to providers
• troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, registered Medical Technologist certification or equivalent, three to five years of general laboratory experience, and one to three years of supervisory experience. Must be available for call and able to respond within 30 minutes.
