Patient Care Technician — Dialysis (PRN)

The Patient Care Technician role is onsite in Waianae, HI. Pay is $19.52–$31.17 per hour. U.S. Renal Care provides kidney care and dialysis services to patients with renal failure. Working under a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse, the technician supports safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and helps maintain treatment equipment and quality controls. The role contributes to coordinated patient care and requires completion of the company’s hemodialysis training and certification requirements.

What you'll do

• Gather patient statistics before and after treatment
• initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatment
• collect blood samples as ordered
• prepare hemodialysis machines and clean and disinfect them after treatment
• conduct machine safety checks and log results
• use appropriate safety measures and follow company policies and applicable laws
• participate in required staff meetings and continuing education.
