Mobile Reefer Technician

The Mobile Reefer Technician role is onsite in San Leandro, CA, with pay of $44.01–$58.63 per hour depending on experience. The technician supports Sonsray’s Fleet division and travels regularly to customer sites for mobile service calls. Sonsray provides sales, parts, service, rental, and leasing for transportation, construction, and agriculture industries. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains transport refrigeration units and auxiliary power units, then verifies repairs through testing and documentation. The work supports safe, reliable customer equipment and helps identify recurring defects for service improvement.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units, including Thermo King equipment
• perform advanced diagnostics
• conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and component replacements
• complete shop orders and service documentation
• identify and repair system failures
• install refrigeration units
• travel to customer sites for mobile service calls
• follow company safety policies and DOT requirements
• maintain a clean service vehicle and work area.
