Direct Support Professional – Supported Living and In-Home Care

Job overview

The Direct Support Professional role provides onsite supported living and in-home care services in the Roanoke area. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. Wall Residences provides community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and is employee-owned.

What you'll do

• Assist individuals with laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing
• support personal care needs
• help individuals explore volunteer opportunities
• provide transportation and advocacy for medical and dental appointments
• assist with medication administration
• and maintain accurate notes to support continuity of care. Paid training may include First Aid and CPR, crisis management and response, medication administration, DSP training, and documentation.
