Engineering Coordinator

The Engineering Coordinator role is onsite at ROUSH’s Dearborn, MI facility. Compensation is not specified in the posting. ROUSH provides engineering, testing, prototype and manufacturing services, including support for the transportation, aerospace, defense and theme park industries. The coordinator supports vehicle or other engineering groups by tracking and communicating engineering changes, build activities and program issues. The role connects shop and engineering teams, coordinates vehicle and parts shipments, and helps ensure builds and tests are ready and documented.

What you'll do

• Facilitate and track fabrication or build projects as a point of contact between the shop and engineering
• compile build information and populate build books
• participate in manufacturability design reviews
• coordinate vehicle and parts shipments
• perform incoming vehicle and pre-shipment inspections
• support vehicle test readiness.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree in business or a technical area or at least two years of experience, U.S. citizenship, prior automotive or mechanical technician training, mechanical aptitude, and ability to read technical prints and assembly instructions. Overtime, including weekends, may be needed.
