What you'll do

• Repair, modify, and upgrade railcars to applicable specifications
• rebuild components and verify function
• weld and fabricate, cut and heat as required
• inspect equipment using blueprints and specifications
• operate a forklift to move components
• measure, cut, and thread pipe
• replace air lines
• assemble and test components
• record repair details
• maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures.
