Pathology Technician

The Pathology Technician role is onsite at the Central Laboratory in Murray, UT. The stated hourly pay range is $24.30–$37.52. The role supports Intermountain Health’s anatomic pathology laboratory operations. The technician provides technical support across anatomic pathology disciplines to maintain efficient laboratory workflow. The work contributes to laboratory operations through specimen accessioning, identification, and, when permitted by education and site competencies, tissue gross examination or dissection.

What you'll do

• Perform tissue gross examination or dissection in accordance with education requirements and site competencies
• maintain accurate specimen identification
• accession cases
• recognize and resolve accessioning and billing errors
• support laboratory procedures and training as skills develop
• perform other site-assigned duties.

Why this role
