What you'll do

• Collaborate with coworkers and healthcare professionals to acquire and review prescriptions
• review and verify physician medication orders daily
• oversee medications prepared by pharmacy technicians
• provide Drug Utilization Review
• interpret orders accurately and support quality assurance to prevent medication errors
• provide customer service and counsel patients and caregivers as needed
• provide rotating emergency on-call services
• assist with physical inventory, cycle counting, and medication adjustments
• complete other assigned duties.

Why this role

Requires a B.S. or PharmD degree and a current State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License. Full-time shifts include 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 1:30–10 p.m., and 11:30 a.m.–8 p.m., Monday–Friday; part-time eight-hour shifts include 10:30 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
