Early Education Infant Assistant

The Early Education Infant Assistant role is onsite in Westminster, CA, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $22.65 per hour. The position supports a school district’s Early Education program, initially through a three-month temp-to-hire pathway with California Schools Talent Collaborative. Working under an infant instructor or assigned supervisor, the assistant helps care for and supervise children ages three to eighteen months. The role contributes to children’s development and safety through nurturing routines, classroom activities, observation, family communication, and coordinated classroom support.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning and conducting infant care and early education activities
• carry out diapering, handwashing, feeding, and nap routines
• supervise children and support classroom safety and emergency procedures
• help maintain licensing compliance, classroom records, and developmental observations
• communicate children’s experiences to parents through daily oral and written updates
• assist with first aid and care for ill or injured students as needed
• attend directed training and perform assigned clerical duties.
