The Alarm Technician I–III role is onsite in Stillwater, OK, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., occasional evenings and weekends, and rotating standby for emergencies after 4:30 p.m. The hiring range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour. The OSU/A&M System role supports university fire and security systems. The technician installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs fire alarm, security alarm, and fire sprinkler systems. The work helps maintain system safety and reliability through inspections, repairs, testing, reporting, and coordination with technicians and clients.

What you'll do

• Install, maintain, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm, burglar/security alarm, and fire sprinkler systems
• perform minor programming
• respond to alarm activations as needed
• prepare maintenance and repair records
• and coordinate with technicians, clients, and supervisors. Participate in rotating standby and work overtime or shift work when required.
