The care partner assists with treatment setup, keeps the treatment area clean and safe, provides companionship and reassurance, helps the client stay on schedule, offers light activities-of-daily-living support as needed, monitors safety, reports concerns to the coordinating nurse, and maintains shift notes.

What you'll do

• Assist with dialysis treatment setup using NxStage or similar home machines
• maintain a clean, organized, safe treatment environment
• provide companionship and emotional reassurance
• help the patient stay on schedule
• provide light ADL support as needed
• monitor safety and report concerns to the coordinating nurse
• maintain simple documentation and shift notes.
