The Clinical Registered Dietitian role is hybrid in San Angelo, TX, with one onsite visit required per month and remaining hours completed remotely via telehealth. The part-time position is eight hours per week, with flexible days and hours. Compensation is $32–$36 per hour, and travel time to and from the facility is paid at the same hourly rate; mileage is reimbursed at $0.50 per mile. RD Nutrition Consultants provides dietitians to healthcare facilities across the United States. The dietitian assesses patients at nutritional risk, develops and monitors individualized nutrition care plans, and provides education to patients and families. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team and timely documentation support patient outcomes, discharge planning, and safe acute-care nutrition services.

What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments
• develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based nutrition care plans
• provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families
• collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other care team members
• comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• document in electronic medical records
• monitor weight, labs, fluid status, and clinical changes
• participate in quality improvement and clinical rounds
• serve as a nutrition resource for hospital staff.
