Building Management Systems Service Project Manager

Job overview

The Building Management Systems Service Project Manager role is hybrid across office and field environments, based in San Diego, CA, with 50% or more overnight travel across the country. Base salary is $115,000–$130,000 per year. Mantis Innovation helps organizations improve building performance through building controls, energy efficiency, energy advisory, and facility management. The manager leads service operations and project execution for building automation systems, coordinating technicians, resources, schedules, and customer communication. The role provides technical escalation support and helps ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality and documentation standards.

What you'll do

• Lead BMS service technicians
• coordinate scheduling, dispatch, and resources
• monitor safe and timely service work
• support repairs, commissioning, upgrades, and corrective actions
• troubleshoot complex controls issues
• review root causes
• track milestones, labor, and budgets
• coordinate materials and subcontractors
• communicate with customers
• coach and develop technicians.
