The Experienced Caregiver — Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care role is an onsite, in-home position serving clients in Sherman Oaks and Studio City, CA. Pay is $19–$24 per hour. SYNERGY HomeCare provides personalized in-home care to help clients maintain dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life. The caregiver provides companionship and assistance with daily living for clients experiencing dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. The role uses reassurance and redirection, supports safe activities, and communicates changes in clients’ condition or behavior to family members or office staff.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• use redirection and reassurance techniques
• encourage safe social engagement and meaningful activities
• assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• report changes in condition or behavior
• accompany clients to local appointments or errands when needed
• cover scheduled shifts reliably.
