Job overview
The Water Treatment Technician role is onsite in Elko, NV, with daily travel by company vehicle to the Greystone Mine site about one hour south of Battle Mountain. Pay is $25–$27 per hour, based on experience. The technician supports mine closure operations for FieldBridge. The role operates and monitors water treatment systems, handles treatment chemicals, collects samples, and maintains compliance records to support safe, reliable treatment operations and Nevada Division of Environmental Protection requirements.
What you'll do
- Operate and monitor water treatment systems, pumps, piping, valves, and tanks
- safely handle treatment chemicals
- collect water samples and perform routine water quality testing
- maintain operational logs, chemical usage records, and sampling results in Excel
- inspect and perform routine equipment maintenance
- operate forklifts to move chemicals and supplies.
