Residential HVAC Service Technician

Job overview

The Residential HVAC Service Technician role is onsite in Akron, OH, with a local service territory and dispatch from home. Pay is $34–$38 per hour. Wright Heating and Cooling is a fourth-generation, family-owned business serving residential HVAC customers in the region for more than 75 years. This technician diagnoses and repairs residential HVAC equipment, performs preventive maintenance and inspections, and explains findings and repair recommendations to homeowners. Accurate service records, safe work, and dependable customer service support the company’s established customer base.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment
• complete preventive maintenance and system inspections
• identify electrical, mechanical, and airflow problems
• explain findings and repair recommendations to homeowners
• maintain service records
• provide professional customer service
• work safely and efficiently. Occasional overtime and a rotational on-call schedule are required.
