Emergency Medical Technician Educator

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Educator role is onsite in Fife, WA. Compensation is $29.00 per hour. Northwest Ambulance provides critical care, advanced life support, and basic life support transportation services throughout Washington and invests in crew development to support patient care. The educator owns the EMT education pathway from new-hire orientation through field practice and ongoing competency. By delivering training, standardizing evaluation, and using quality-assurance trends to guide education, the role helps prepare EMTs to provide consistent, safe care.

What you'll do

• Deliver EMT onboarding and orientation covering classroom, skills, equipment, documentation, and safety
• help select and develop field training officers and preceptors
• maintain standardized evaluation tools
• teach and validate clinical skills through hands-on stations and scenarios
• partner with quality assurance and management to address trends
• coach and develop remediation plans
• translate policy, protocol, and equipment changes into training materials
• maintain education calendars and records.

Why this role
