Fire Alarm Inspector

The Fire Alarm Inspector role is onsite in Dartmouth, MA. Pay is $30–$40 per hour. Fire Systems Inc., part of the Altus Fire & Life Safety family, provides fire and life safety system services. The inspector tests and inspects fire sprinkler and alarm-related systems, troubleshoots issues, documents findings and recommendations, and explains corrective actions to customers to support system readiness and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

What you'll do

• Inspect and functionally test fire sprinkler systems, control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and auxiliary equipment
• troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
• complete inspection reports documenting findings and deficiencies in line with NFPA standards and local regulations
• explain results and corrective actions to customers
• collaborate with service teams
• maintain tools and follow safety procedures.
