The Desktop Support Engineer role is onsite in Union City, IN, with an annual salary range of $65,000–$75,000. The role supports Workhorse’s manufacturing facility, including plant-floor systems, office IT, and production-adjacent technology. The position exists to keep workplace and manufacturing technology reliable and minimize production disruption. It provides frontline hardware, software, and network support, manages user and device processes, and works with operational teams to resolve issues and improve the user experience.

What you'll do

• Provide Level 1/2 support for computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
• troubleshoot Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, authentication, VPN, and business applications
• support plant-floor computers, barcode scanners, and label printers
• troubleshoot network and endpoint issues
• manage onboarding, offboarding, hardware provisioning, software installation, and asset inventory
• maintain endpoint security and patching
• manage tickets and document resolutions
• support upgrades and deployments
• maintain Active Directory accounts
• support SOX audits and conference room equipment.
