What you'll do

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities and facility operations during the assigned shift
• make operational and staffing decisions
• ensure physicians and families are notified of significant clinical developments
• direct resident-care emergencies
• conduct rounds and consult with charge nurses
• oversee incident documentation and quality assurance
• evaluate and document charge nurse performance
• conduct scheduled in-service training
• monitor physician visits and equipment and supply availability.
