Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Job overview

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner role is hybrid, with three days in the office, in Vallejo, CA. Base salary is $137,000–$158,000 per year, plus a cash bonus. The role supports a fast-growing, private equity-backed consumer packaged goods company and reports to the Chief People Officer. This hands-on HR partner advises leaders on workforce and organizational decisions and helps build the people function as the business scales. The role leads employee relations, talent and performance programs, compliance, compensation cycles, acquisition integration, and HR systems and reporting.

What you'll do

• Advise senior and frontline leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategy
• track HR metrics and partner with Finance on headcount and budgets
• lead employee relations, performance management, talent strategy, learning and development, and engagement
• manage California and multi-state compliance
• run goal-setting and compensation review cycles
• support hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development
• lead HR due diligence and integration for acquisitions
• own employee data, reporting, and process improvement in UKG
• mentor new HR team members.
