Electronics Assembler

Job overview

The Electronics Assembler role is onsite in Poway, CA, in a manufacturing and production environment. Pay is $26–$36 per hour. Blue Marble Communications designs and manufactures communications modules and systems for satellites and other space vehicles. The assembler performs detailed electronic and mechanical assembly to support production schedules and product quality. The role works with Engineering and Operations to build, inspect, document, and rework hardware according to established instructions and manufacturing requirements.

What you'll do

• Assemble electronic and mechanical products and components
• hand-solder SMT, through-hole, fine-pitch components, and wiring
• use precision tools and microscopes
• interpret drawings, bills of materials, wire lists, and work instructions
• perform approved rework
• complete manufacturing documentation
• verify quality and maintain parts traceability.

Why this role

Requires at least eight years of hands-on electronics assembly experience and J-STD-001 certification. U.S. Person status is required; IPC-A-610 experience or certification is preferred.
