The Maintenance Technician, Skilled Technician role is onsite in Prescott Valley, AZ. The stated salary is $20.00–$25.00 per hour. The position supports maintenance at Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center, a residential behavioral health treatment center serving adolescents. The technician maintains and repairs facility systems, equipment, vehicles, and buildings so the center can operate safely. The role responds to maintenance requests, performs inspections and preventive maintenance, and may train or supervise clients on non-mechanical work as part of a vocational program.

What you'll do

• Check the fire alarm system
• maintain generators, heating systems, wells, plumbing, septic systems, and appliances
• inspect equipment and plan preventive maintenance
• grade roads when needed
• perform carpentry and interior and exterior repairs, maintenance, and remodeling
• coordinate general vehicle maintenance
• respond to maintenance requests
• support staff in client crisis management when needed
• participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage
• may train and supervise clients on non-mechanical vocational work.
