Compensation is $0 per year. The Equipment Operator role is onsite and field-based in Monahans, TX, with local and regional travel required and possible out-of-state assignments. Klaasmeyer Construction supports telecommunications construction through field operations. The operator uses heavy excavation equipment to create trenches and pits while protecting underground utilities and keeping crews on schedule. Safe, accurate operation and coordination with field crews support telecommunications construction work.

What you'll do

• Operate excavators, mini excavators, trenchers, compact track loaders, skid steers, and attachments
• work to grade and specification
• verify utilities are located and marked before digging
• assist with potholing and hand digging
• conduct pre-operation inspections
• set up traffic control
• log production and equipment hours
• report utility conflicts and equipment issues.
